About Sunshine-N-Music
Our History
As a music therapist, teacher and Mom, Angelia loves to see a student’s progress and see their face light up when they have achieved their musical goals. She believes in instructing a music foundation that is progressive but also fun. She is a native of Mississippi but has spent over the last thirty years near the surrounding areas of Louisiana and currently resides in Texas. Her education includes an Associate of Arts degree in church music from Clarke College and a Bachelor of Music Degree from William Carey University where she studied music therapy While pursuing her studies. Angelia became a board certified Music Therapist in 1989 and has a plethora of experience with early childhood music programs. She served in children’s ministry for eighteen years as director, coordinator of volunteers and other roles. Angelia has brought her passion for music and children together by serving as a Vocal & Piano Instructor. With the creation of Sunshine-N-Music she is now offering in person classes North of Dallas and online from any location.
